As someone who has written both fiction and non-fiction, Peter is available to talk on a variety of subjects including Crime Writing, writing for a live audience, and the pros and cons of going on writing courses.

He has spoken on Blood on the Keyboard at libraries in Cornwall, Devon, Berkshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and his home county of Oxfordshire, as well as at various U3A groups, a book group, the 2013 Wantage Literary Festival, the 2014 Purbeck Literary Festival and one of Her Majesty's Prisons (yes, they let him out afterwards!).

Peter is a member of the Crime Writers Association

Purbeck Festival

I had the great pleasure of being invited to take part in the 2014 Purbeck Literary Festival. I was invited to join the Deadly Dames for the day. What a day it was too - glorious sunshine, a room at the top of Durlston Castle and a lovely group of fellow crime writers and crime readers.

Feedback from some of Peter's Talks

Enstone Womens Lunch Club: "Thank you so much for your talk today. As it was obvious, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. We have never had anything quite like it and it was a winner."

St John's Wood Library: "Thank you so much for coming. The crime group really enjoyed meeting you and reading your books. We really appreciate you coming."

Newbury U3A: " Your splendid talk ... was very thought provoking and inspiring and the feedback was very good."

Yarnell's Hill Book Group: "Our meeting last night has been unanimously voted 'one of the best'. Thank you very much for giving up your evening, particularly after a busy day, to come and share your writing experiences with us."

From Stratford Library: "All the feedback I have had say that the evening was very good and stimulating."

From Long Buckby Library: "I have had some wonderful feedback so... thank you very much for taking the time to visit."

From Wantage Library: "I am writing to thank you for giving your time to Wantage library on Saturday. The response from the staff who worked on the day has been full of praise for you; the visitors who attended have given us fantastic feedback and others who were in the library apparently made a point of staying longer and listening in!"

From Faringdon library: "Have passed on to Wantage friends what a fun, informative talk you gave. Hope to use the photos in the library and an article in 'The Folly', folk who came the other night said they would like to write a few appreciative words!"

From Leighton Buzzard library: "I'm really pleased you enjoyed it, we all did too and speaking to people afterwards I know they got a lot from it."

From St Austell library: "Thank you so much for the talk that you gave at St Austell Library. We have had lots of positive feedback as you can see below. No negative feedback at all!"

From Cherwell U3A: "Thank you so much for your very interesting delivery on the writing of your crime fiction. I would like to have heard more - and to question more too - but time is always a limiting factor. The people at the meeting enjoyed the session and, as well as being informative, you also made it fun. Thank you."
